Are you EPA, OSHA, and IIAR compliant?

As business resumption continues following the COVID pandemic, American Refrigeration can assist you with ensuring your refrigeration system remains in compliance with the requirements of the EPA, OSHA, and IIAR standards and best practices.

The EPA’s recent enforcement initiatives as well as the General Duty Clause also includes facilities below the traditional 10,000 pounds threshold. This is a continuation of the goal of Section 112(r) of the Clean Air Act, 42 U.S.C. § 7412(r), to reduce the risk of chemical accidents.

Owners and operators of stationary sources producing, processing, handling, or storing extremely hazardous substances, including anhydrous ammonia, must:

  • Identify hazards that may result from accidental releases using appropriate hazard assessment techniques;
  • Design and maintain a safe facility taking steps to prevent releases; and
  • Minimize the consequences of accidental releases that do occur.

Our customized Planned Maintenance programs may provide the benefits of currently complying with some of the items already. If you’re not currently taking advantage of a custom ARC PM program or need to confirm your current coverage, please contact your account representative or call 978-474-4000.
